So this note is going to talk about my opinion along with some other peoples on the species angel dragons. They are a species that is ganging popularity quickly so they are easy to find if you don't know what they are.

My History with Angel Dragons

When I was new to the furry world and still looking at new and popular fur suits I stumbled upon Telephone, the maker of the angel dragons. I had no clue what the species was and I had really wanted to know. Eventually I found out that they were called angel dragons, but I was hesitant on making one because I didn't know if they were open(and I couldn't draw them ._.). I found out that they were open, but I had heard that Ino was bullied into opening them, which is really sad if you ask me. My first angel dragon that I never really completed the design was a grayish-blue one named Morse Code, I never made her public and never will. I then started to make Korra, my current angel dragon character. She had a nose ring and I was told to remove it. At first I was pretty pissed that I had to change it because I had seen about ten other people with it, but I did change it. I then started to hear about the other rules and I got annoyed, but I just ignored my annoyance and moved on. Only a little while ago I was at MOA(Mall Of America) with my costume of Korra, which was a hoodie with ears, horns, wings, and a tail attached, I posted it and a bunch of people unfollowed me on Instagram(I know I sound really stupid right know). I ignored it and moved on once again. Very recently I discovered that I think about seven more angel dragons had been made by Ino. I thought it was cool but I heard a lot about how she wishes that she was the only angel dragon again. I started to realize that this fandom was getting way out of hand with drama so I am not going to use Korra much anymore, like drawing or even wearing the costume I have of her. I just want no part of it anymore.

The issues with the Species

Like I said before I found it sad that Ino was sort of forced to open the species(I don't know if that is true). But I think she could have at least told some people and got help to get people to back off. It's her species so she can do what ever she wants with it. The other thing is the whole design itself. I'm not trying to hurt her feelings, I find angel dragons cute, but not original. Angel dragons are just fuzzy dragons with feathers. The trade marks with them are sort of the ears, tails, eyes, and head shape. I hate to point fingers, but it is the truth and unfortunately the super fans of angel dragons can't see that. Rules. The rules of the angel dragons. There are so many rules that take away people creativity with the species. I know that Ino is making them so that people won't copy Telephone, but they are still getting out of hand. Most people(like me) didn't even know that there were major rules. I have not clue where they are posted or even if they were posted. I do understand that she wants to keep Telephone original, but she should have never opened the species in the first place if she didn't want people making angel dragons that look like hers.

The fans of Angel Dragons

Holy mother of god: The angel dragon fans. I am not saying that all fans of angel dragons are what I am going to write about next, but I am applying to a lot of them. People need to chill out about angel dragons, yes I loved them for a time, but they are just another species made by another person. Even writing this note is giving attention to the species. Some fans are getting out of control and screaming(using caps lock) at people if they do one thing against the rules. I haven't encountered this, but I have heard of people going crazy about it. Like I said before: angel dragons are not as original as most would think. The crappy thing about the fans is that most of them are new to the furry world and are a younger age as well. They hear about Telephone, freak out, and try to make an angel dragon without having any knowledge on what they are getting into. There are tons of mature people out there that treat the species with respect and make there own original ideas, but those aren't the people that you hear all of the drama about. I think that when Ino was opening the species she didn't realize how popular it would become and how out of hand this species would be. But seriously people, calm down.

In the end this is just another journal write that is just ranting about issues in the art world. I just wanted to get the point across and let my opinion free, even if it will have it's consequences. If you would like to share your opinion then feel free to comment, I won't judge you if you love this species and hate this journal. I don't want to cause any drama or hate so please don't bring any here. Thank you for reading.

I know this is a very very old post but generally speaking, it's sad how the species went downhill and how much of a negative impact it got, from good to bad. I really do love the species (till' this day) but after seeing several old posts from certain sources (yes I'm weird idk why) it got me thinking, perhaps the dad species is now forgotten, nonethless, it made me lose my motivation or interest over the species because of that, even if it's outdated and such.

But hey, that's just my opinion
